Privacy Policy

Dreamosity is a dream interpretation app. Your dreams are personal, and this policy explains — in plain language — exactly what data the app handles, where it goes, and what we do not do with it.

The short version

• Your dream journal, credit balance, and usage count are stored only on your device.
• We have no user accounts — you don't sign up, and we don't ask for your name, email, or login.
• When you request an interpretation, your dream text is sent to our secure server and on to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate that interpretation.
• We do not sell your data, show ads, or use third‑party trackers.

Information stored on your device

Dreamosity keeps the following on your device only, using your device's local storage. It is not transmitted to us:

• Your dream journal — the dream text you save and any interpretations you receive.
• Your credit balance and the count of free interpretations you've used.
• A "has tipped" flag, so the optional tip prompt stops appearing once you've supported the app.

Because this data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it. We cannot recover it for you, and we never see it.

Dream interpretation (AI processing)

When you choose to interpret a dream, the app sends the dream text (and the associated context you provide, such as symbols and associations) to our secure proxy server, hosted on Cloudflare. That server forwards the request to our AI provider, Anthropic, whose Claude model generates the interpretation and returns it to your device, where it is saved to your local journal.

This transmission happens only when you actively request an interpretation. The dream text is used solely to produce your interpretation. We do not use your dreams to train AI models. Anthropic's handling of API data is governed by their own privacy policy.

Camera, microphone, and speech recognition

Dreamosity lets you enter a dream by typing, speaking, or photographing a handwritten page:

• Microphone & speech recognition — used only while you are dictating a dream, to convert your speech to text.
• Camera & photo library — used only when you choose to photograph or select a page so the app can transcribe it into text.

These features are activated only by your action. Photos and audio are used to produce the dream text and are not stored or transmitted by us beyond the interpretation flow described above.

Purchases

Dreamosity offers optional credit packs and an optional tip jar as in‑app purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, our purchase infrastructure provider. We never see or store your payment card details. RevenueCat may process a purchase identifier to validate your transaction; see the RevenueCat privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.

Data we do not collect

• No accounts, names, email addresses, or passwords.
• No advertising identifiers and no third‑party advertising or analytics trackers.
• No location data.
• No selling or sharing of personal data with data brokers.

Children's privacy

Dreamosity is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices & rights

Because your journal and settings live on your device, you are in control: you can delete individual journal entries in the app, or remove all app data by deleting the app. If you have questions about your data or wish to make a request, contact us at the email below.

If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised version at this URL.
